Which Wallet Can Be Used?

You can use any wallet that supports testnet BTC. Examples of such wallets include Blockstream Green Wallet, Copay Bitcoin Wallet (for Apple users only), and BitPay Crypto Wallet.

The addresses are not being generated.

There might be an issue with your browser. Have you tried clearing your cache (CTRL+SHIFT+R)? You could also try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet or using a different browser/device. Follow these steps and let us know if the problem keeps happening.

Do I need to keep the dapp open once I send the tBTC for deposit or I can close the dapp and return after some time?

You can close the dapp and return after some time.

When did Season 2 start?

It started on July 11th.

How Often Can I Request from the Faucet?

You can make a request every 24 hours.

Why Didn't My BTC Transaction Arrive Instantly?

Transactions can take up to 30 minutes to process.

How Does the Distribution of Rewards Affect the exchange rate of bstBTC to BTC and stBTC?

bstBTC reflects your share in the reward pool. This means that while your balance remains unchanged, the more rewards that are distributed, the lower the exchange rate of BTC to bstBTC and of stBTC to bstBTC will become.

What to do if the invitation does not earn points at all?

Please, check that your referral did Mint or Mint and Stake. You will earn 20% on these transactions.

How can I get higher on the Leaderboard?

How you can level up:

1. Every Mint stBTC or Mint&Stake bstBTC will earn you 50,000 stPoints regardless of the amounts (NOTE: the limit is 250k stPoints/day on your own Mints and/or Mint&Stakes).
2. Every Mint stBTC or Mint&Stake bstBTC from your referrals will earn you 10,000 stPoints (20%) regardless of the amount.
3. If you have come to Stroom with a referral code, you can get an additional 10,000 stPoints for each of the first 100 Mints or Mint&Stakes on the testnet (NOTE: the maximum bonus you can earn is 1,000,000 stPoints). The "Earned from referrals" column shows points from people who used your link.

Is there a point limit per day?

The limit is 250k stPoints/day on your own Mints and/or Mint&Stakes.

How is it possible to earn more than a million with referrals?

1M stPoints is the maximum bonus for the user, who came by the referral code from someone.
But the user, who is the owner of this code, receives stPoints constantly for each referral.

What Types of BTC Addresses Are Supported?

During the testnet phase, the Stroom app supports Taproot and Segwit address formats.

Can I run a node?

We’ve already chosen partners for the first batch of validators. Once they’re connected, we’ll look at other validators. Please reach out in September.
